Liquor licence

Hi there, I have a bottle of bundaberg rum 125th anniversary and I would like to put it up for sale but on every ad I see it has a licence number? Is there any way I can apply for one? Thanks

eBay says

"1) Sellers that wish to list alcohol or wine on eBay Australia must have a license to sell these types of items.
2) Sellers must place the number of their license, to sell alcohol or wine, in the item listing.
3) Alcohol and wine may only be traded domestically, within Australia."

You used to be able to sell bottles with alcoholic content as a "collectable" - the stipulation being that the item was no longer for sale in retail stores. However eBay has recently upgraded their policy, to say that full collectable containers are considered as alcohol, so I assume you now need a licence to sell collectable items that contain alcohol. That is, a regular Wine & Spirits Licence, like bottle shops and hotels have.

If yours is one of the really valuable limited edition of 3000, it would probably be worth while getting your local auction house to sell it - most of them have a W & S Licence.
