Help - Identifying Australian Figurine

Hi,

Does anyone known if this is Modern Ceramic Pottery or Japanese?

I would like to list this shortly but unsure of how to describe it.

Just my opinion but I don't think the glaze looks correct for MCP, nor the quality sufficiently good. There is an excellent blog here

which shows many MCP pieces - it may help if you scroll through that. The consensus seems to be that it is often very difficult to tell, as MCP Disney figurines had only a label.

Anyway the market will decide for you. There are still collectors out there.

Thanks Siddieswans for your quick response. I think I will list it for $10 for fun as it has some obvious wear.
