      <description>&lt;P&gt;It's possible the large character being a makers mark will refer to a particular period that mark was used otherwise no dates as I understand.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;A lot of Arita Imari stems from around 18th and 19th century as well as newer current designs.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you can determine which style the plate is that may give a better idea if it is from the Edo period or more recent.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://orientalsouls.com/blog/traditional-crafts/3-most-artistic-styles-of-arita-porcelain-ko-imari-kakiemon-and-nabeshima/" target="_blank"&gt;https://orientalsouls.com/blog/traditional-crafts/3-most-artistic-styles-of-arita-porcelain-ko-imari-kakiemon-and-nabeshima/&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
