Take it easy she’ll be right
life’s not a race you know.
Kick back ‘n take in the sights
with experience knowledge'll grow
Embrace what’s offered
take life by the balls
for you never know if you’ll be home
when the reaper calls.

Make time to eat life’s fruit
and let the juices run
there’s thousands of fruit
‘n thousands of days,
no need for a starters gun.
Learn from others mistakes
this helps to lengthen life’s ride
it’s a waste to be laid up,
convalescing on watch inside.

Don’t confuse love with lust
most stars only shine
your guiding light will sparkle and shoot
then grow to blow your mind.
Cross all waters
walk different lands
endure their hardships
your mind will expand.
Around the world in eight days
only sees quick displays
of life and natures quirks and turns.
To leave behind desires that burn,
eighty days can be spent in one spot
breath in what others chose not
Soak the rays and absorb all 'round
Feel warmth of a stranger on their native ground.

When young we want to eat and run
when old we like to feel the sun
smell the roses one by one
and squeeze your lovers ageless bum
then remember days when we were young,
off like a shot from a drovers gun.

No-one listened, no-one cared
Too young to grasp the dangers dared

Dreams when young shine and glow
Before realities come cold as snow
As tides of life ebb and flow
life and loss come and go
but throw the dice , you never know
where the winds of fate will blow.

So the wink and grin as you share your day
Keep memories vivid and minds at play.

Your journeys will wear out many shoes
Move with your heart for it will choose
Where to settle and when to cruise
And when to stand and voice your views
To win must learn how to lose
For you to understand you muse.
