Refund from ebay taking forever

I bought something and returned it. Seller didn't refund me, Ebay stepped in and said they will issue the refund. Im lost now, I've contacted ebay customer service 5 times already and they said they will get back to me. It's been 2 months. Each time the rep will say it's been escalated and someone will get back to me but it never happens.

What happened to ebay? This used to take like 2 working days and i will get a refund. Hope someone can advised what should i do.

The money will go back to the source you used. If you paid with a CC via Paypal, the funds will be credited to your CC. You will also be able to see the transaction refund in Paypal, but ultimately the funds will go back to the CC.

Thanks for your reply, funds came from ebay giftcard. I have sellers refunded me to this giftcard so I know refund definitely works. I'm just wondering whether ebay has any escalation department or case officer that can look after the case.
