Have made 12 attempts so far at contacting PayPal on both numbers provided. Keep getting redirected to service operators who say call the number back again, ignore all the voice prompts, just keep pressing the # key, Etc, Etc. When I finally do get through to an operator the line hangs up on me after a few minutes. Have emailed about problem, but had no reply.
This is how they run the best-known online payment system?
This is absolutely pathetic and amateurish.

Could be a problem with the phone lines rather than PayPal.

I haven't had any problems with Paypal recently, but I never have a need to ring them.

If it is eBay related (this is, after all, eBay) what is the problem? Maybe somebody here can assist.

I do remember that, a few years ago when I needed to contact PayPal, something similar was happening.

It was like being caught in a temporal loop.

It may be a temporary glitch - but it's also possible that you're calling outside PayPal's opening hours.
