SELLER OFFERS

I'm a newbie to selling on eBay. I took advantage of eBay's suggestion of offering selected "Watchers" a discount (10% in this case).

1) How long does the offer apply?

2) If I want to Edit any of the items that have been subject to the offers, say to make further reductions or add photos, why can't I access them to make those changes?

2) one would think the reason is obvious. If you were able to edit while the offer is current, you would be able to change the contents and/or value of the listing... e.g. send an offer for $300 for a pair of RayBan sunglasses, then edit/modify the listing so it's now for a $2 box of tissues - buyer accepts offer and you've just sold your cheap box of tissues for $300

It would also afford an opportunity to add pics of previously undisclosed faults/damage which the potential buyer had not already seen and would actually decrease the item value
