How long does it take to get a response after submitting a request for help? Does eBay send confirmation that they have received your request?

How long is a piece of string?

It depends entirely on how long it takes for someone to read your post and then reply if they feel so inclined. It could be a minute... or you may never get a reply.

For example, from the time I noticed your other post, it took around 3 or 4 minutes before I was ready to post a reply. Likewise for this post.

You only get notifications if you check the box accordingly.

What I will add though , as your other post is about posting your sold item to the US,

I highly recommend you sell your current $1600 item to Australia only.

All an overseas buyer has to do is file a MBG dispute with eBay and you'll lose your money and your item
