Overdue Postage Notifications

Hi,

I keep getting postage overdue notifications for items I have marked as sent. Items were listed and sent as untracked mail. Concerned this may effect my tracking performance percentage. Anybody else experiencing this?

It's been happening since Friday. I'm guessing it's a unwanted carry-over from their site maintenance.

Oh, and the notifications aren't creating defects - if you check, there should be nothing showing as late postage.

I haven't. 4 letters sent in the last week.

Were the items listed with untracked mail options?

If you fall below eBay required metrics it will definitely affect you.

I've received a false notification for every item I've shipped since Wednesday once my handling time has passed. None of these are showing as late postage and my percentages haven't changed from 100% or 0% as the case may be

The notifications state, "Postage is overdue for ITEM TITLE. Buy a label to send it now.". They're nothing more than a blatant advertisement to by an eBay label.

I should have also added that they are app notifications.

If you click on the notification it just opens the order details page in the app.

Yes, I've been getting these false notifications pinged from the app all week, exactly as decribed here - two late last night.

Ditto, I've have had about 10 so far, all items were posted on time and order details confirm date sent. I presume Ebay are aware of this issue? Can't find any announcements from eBay regarding it?

Thanks for the replies guys was worried it was just me. A little comical that eBay is trying to sell postage like they are outside the Post Office hocking for business... or trying to push tracked postage when many of the items we sell would not be viable without untracked mail.

I am also getting these notifications for untracked items that have been sent.

I am also getting bombarded with notifications with offers, of other sellers selling the same item I am selling.

I have even got a cheaper offer for a item that I had already purchased, I did not cancel the transaction and buy the cheaper one, but am aware that Ebay now allow this.

The only way to stop this is to pay for a subscription, then you can opt out of this spam.

Ebay are going to lose business if they don't stop this.
