Postage glitches December 2025

I have many issues with postage such as satchel size options mainly Australia post small even though the one with signature shows not appearing...now people are buying my items and they are turning into pickup instead of postage which some listings only showing click and collect or local pickup. I have tried to contact eBay and the AI help is awful. What have they done. I had noticed on my other account of 18 years l have not sold much except for items to overseas.... which are a whole other problem...USA , parcel returned....ltaly parcel returned....now Canada says didn't receive yet tracking says delivery and signature. Makes me want to retire. 😞

I have looked at some of your listings, and they show ‘free local pickup’ without any shipping details

Yep. That being 1 of the the problems. This is also happening on my other account with 2000+ listings. I just sold a book which shows as pickup...sent message and he asked for postage. I had to his address off him to be able to post it. This is okay for free postage items but who knows about the other book I sold which shows pickup and l haven't had a reply for that one. I have spent hours trying to resolve this...

To add postage options to multiple listings, simply create a postage policy or two, then apply them to the relevant listings. You can update up to 2000 listings at a time, so it won't take long at all.

The listings have all been working with postage up till recently.... never had this crazy issue in the 18 years on eBay. All my listings are books so they are all different sizes and weights and changing multiple at same time is a nightmare. Thanks for the tip... I will again try to get past the awful AI chat and try to get some assistance tomorrow.

I can but l don't get the correct satchel options and have to overcharge even after altering the size etc... it seems like the extra small and small Australia post satchels have gone... Sometimes l get an option on my phone to choose eBay labels in the correct size.

The trouble is that I have already done all the postage previously before and this click and collect thing l have never done yet it is now showing on most of my listings.

It would appear you are using calculated postage, which eBay now defaults to.

Try changing to flat postage. It doesn't require dimensions or weights. XS mailers won't appear on the pick list. I use AP standard parcel.
