Confirm and pay button not working

The button which says confirm and pay isn't working. Stays grey . Cant process payment for goods . No email or notice from eBay there's issue. No card issue just the button isn't working via app or internet . Anyone ?!eBay not helping the ai doesn't understand the question.

Possibly 'left overs' from the massive mess on everything eBay that happened for two days last week?

eBay rarely know about any issues until many people have told them (they flat out denied any issues when I contacted last week about absolutely nothing working) Even when it was on Down Detector and other sites, eBay said nope, there is no problems at all

Have you tried the 'usual' (clearing cookies/cache/tried another browser)

Hi thanks for replying. Yes I tried the app and the internet page via duck duck. Same issue . No confirm and pay button working just sitting there grey and uncooperative lol . Cant get any help. Not even a ph number to contact anyone at eBay. Ai is useless and pointless it doesn't understand questions outside of its box.

You could try (during business hours) typing speak to an agent in the chatbot to reach a human

Many items across the country. Everything I try to purchase it's happening . Button just grey lifeless

Historically, people have had problems when using a VPN, which is what Tor effectively is.

Try using a normal browser.

I too have had the same problem starting 24 hours ago , ebay are impossible to get answers from , very frustrated 😠

I have the same problem. Contacted a real person at Ebay via the AI. Ask to speak to a real person and they will transfer you to an agent. No resolution yet.....

Tried multiple options including those detailed in your note but no luck. The wifes account is the same. No one can pay for anything at the moment. I hope they fix it soon.

No issues at all here. I've bought multiple items over the past few days using PayPal without any issues.

I thought I'd try using Visa, and that's just now gone through fine as well.

Edit: Just a thought... do you have a debit/credit card saved for your purchases? If you don't, that could be creating the issue. Mine is saved and the payment button has a closed padlock icon

Yes I've stored card. Been buying and selling for couple years. It's still not working 😞 no answer from eBay tech

either.

Thank You ! Not just me then lol. You can go to eBay via internet and log in but not ebayau just ebay.com . It works for me going via usa . Australia is clearly down . Hope they fix it soon . Tis a pain 🤣

Having a Parcel Collect or Parcel Locker address as "Primary" will also cause the payment button to be greyed out.

The work around for Parcel Collect is to set a different address as "Primary", then edit the saved Parcel Collect address to remove the space between the two blocks of 5 digits.

After the edit, it can then be set as "Primary" again, and the payment button will become active.

Used browser logged in ebayau. Same issue . Logged in ebay not au and it works . Clearly Aussie issue. Can purchase but via USA ebay . Thanks for the reply and help 🙏🏼
