How stupid can a system be that will not allow security questions because it thinks the answer is not good enough. If my first pets name was dog, let the freaking answer be dog and if my fav book is It, let it be the answer. Rather than sorry your answer is too similar to the question. When security measures are too strick peoples tend to tape the passwords and back ups to their phones/computers is that what you're hoping for?

Afterall they are meant for security not obvious words that are likely to be tried by hackers.

Choose some different security questions you have answers to that you won't forget.

Nothing to do with OP but I'm sure a number of people can't get into their accounts because it asks to 'type password here'.

Not specific to ebay, but previous comment definately relates to OP and the mentality of the vast majority, when answering computer generated security Questions. In 2017 "password" rated No.2 on the most common password list. It fell to No.8

last year.

The top 3 passwords for 2018 (123456) (123456789) & (qwerty)

Now is it any wonder a hacker can predict / guess answers to security issues.
