A little hard for fellow buyers and sellers (the only people responding here) to say

(Despite the blurb, eBay staff/tech staff do not read people's posts on here and do not check the forum for technical issues)

Unless someone else in your household has been viewing eBay while you have been logged into your account, I do not know how they would have ended up being under your most recently viewed

Hi,

I am experiencing this, too, and came here to ask the same question. I noticed for the first time yesterday that my 'frequently searched by you' list is filled with items I have never searched for, and are not even remotely similar to items I do search (musical intruments and parts). FYI, I am the only person with access to the account.

The items in 'my' list include: a pink summer dress, navman software update, the barefoot investor (an ebook?), a fish size chart/poster, bionicle encyclopedia, car seat covers, a bicycle, and some other random stuff. Any chance these items are similar to yours?

At first I thought my account had been hacked, but I am guessing its just something on ebay's end.

Regards,

M.

Ive had the same issue.

I had an email saying i had items in my shopping cart .. 2 of which ive never seen or searched for before.

I deleted them.

Today when i went on to purchase / search for something, i found the postage cost with a huge increase last time i looked.

Then noticed in my addresses that a preferreed address with my same street number and name but in a completley different country. I quickly deleted that too.

My account i feel must have been hacked in some way for this to happen.

Ive got the address saved to pass onto Ebay to follow up. No idea how to get in touch with them though .. ive looked at the options but leads now where.

So just make sure that you double check your postage address before hitting the payment at the checkout.
