Cannot sign out of eBay on Chrome

This morning I tried to sign out of my account but instead received a message "We looked everywhere. Looks like this page is missing". I didn't have this problem when I tried to do the same thing in Firefox. This has not happened before. I am trying to sign out so that I can sign in to my other eBay account.

Yes, we just had the exact same problem.

We had to close the page saying "we looked everywhere", then clear all eBay cookies - make sure you close the page first, otherwise it won't work.

That forced the eBay log out.

We were then able to sign in to our other accounts.

Hopefully a temporary glitch, after all, it is Friday.

I've got a bigger problem - I can't switch accounts on Chrome. Just can't. I click on "Switch Account", the names of our other two accounts come up. I click on account B or account C, and get asked for the password. Once I've entered that... account A loads up.

Chrome will not load any other account. Just won't.

Only workarounds are to open an incognito window, or to login using Facebook - and even then, I have to re-login that way every time I try to do anything - send a message, check active listings, selling / sold, process orders, etc. Every time I go to a non-search related page, re-login. It's a pain in the ane...

It's doing it on multiple computers, in multiple locations, and with the most up-to-date version of Chrome. Not an issue with Firefox or IE.

From what I've seen on a couple of FB Ebay user pages, it's becoming a common problem.

Same problem same solution. However I still can't log out but I can switch between accounts, which has efffect of only keeping me logged in to one at a time. With Mozilla Firefox.

Just came in to ask the same thing. I know it's freaky Friday, but I really need to get into one of my other accounts. I will try the cache clearing and see if that helps (only did it a couple of days ago!).

The other option would be to use an incognito window for any other accounts.

That generally logs you out when you close the window.

If you have more than one account, rather than signing out of one to sign in to another, consider using a different browser for each account. That way you can stay signed in to each one at the same time.

same here.....Open up a new tab.... search ebay login on the internet .....click on link then.... you can sign into your other account ..... then to sign back into your 2nd account you have to repeat the process

I was quite optimistic when I got your instructions, however claering the cookies etc. didn't fix the problem. I am hoping it is temporary.

Switching back and forth between Chrome and Firefox would be a bit of a nuisance. Incidentally, I have just discovered that the same problem occurs on Firefox which leads me to suspect that it is an eBay problem. I'll try clearing cookies on Firefox.

I've had this problem for weeks (possibly months). I have resorted to having the account I use most open in Edge and using ccleaner if I need to change the others in Chrome

Yep I have had this issue for months too. The temporary solution is when you log out and try and sign into account b is to select the account you want and click next, dont enter the password at that time, click change account again and click account b then you can enter the password..

However I now have this ridiculous log out problem. I cannot log out of the account without clearing cookies each time. Driving me mad.

I've had that problem for a few weeks now. Maybe even a month. Have to go into settings and delete the password for ID B and then login again. Sometimes that works; sometimes it doesn't but it bl**dy frustrating.

I cannot sign out and cannot switch accounts. Goes to Ebay U.K. all the time showing items in pounds. Cannot wipe messages, continues to say I have 2 messages when all messages on that account have been read.
