constantly signed out grrr

am i the only one being constantly signed out of the boards and find it darn hard to sign back in?

i have ticked the boxes in my account

didnt make any difference

i unticked the boxes, closed all windows, turned off the computer, restarted the computer, re ticked the boxes, closed the window, restarted the computer...

and i still get signed out!

We've had the same problem for several days.

Sometimes we can't sign in for a couple of hours, sometimes it's fine.

It's worse on Firefox than Chrome, but it's still been happening on Chrome, except for today.

Been happening for about a week now.

I'm on Win10 using Edge.

Tried all sorts every day with different results.

Today I just went to the Discussion Boards and hit refresh. It worked.

Other days I've replied, even though I'm not signed in, and it worked.

If I can see a notification, and I click on it, it works.

I give up. It's a daily game.

Maybe they just don't want us here.

But it does explain why the boards are quiet.

A simple fix for me.

When it signs me out and takes me to the community page, click on the back button. It will take you to the last thread read and you are still signed in.

Click on the community spirit link, up the top there ^

Done.

for me it began exactly 2 weeks ago on a thursday

i put it down to the tech guys fooling about as it was giving me an error page

from the next day, friday it began the sign outs

like others sometimes it let my straight back in

other times it was try this and that until i was in again

other times i just gave up for the day

what is annoying in when i actually click on the 'sign in' button it just returns me to the signed out page

i almost allways have to try different pages or threads or subjects

ie go to the buying or selling pages then back to the community pages

seems to never be the same 2 times in a row.

Most times so far if I go into eBay first instead of the discussion boards it lets you sign into the boards.

I've had no problems with Chrome but have had with Firefox and Edge.

It's an eBay glitch and shutting down and restarting the pc is generally used if there are Wifi problems.
