Person is Peru cannot bid despite worldwide shipping

Hello

An eBay user in Peru was trying to bid on my auction (this one: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/224467138700) but keeps getting a message saying the item does not ship to Peru: https://ibb.co/WHBtM9m

I don’t know why this is happening - I have shipping set to Worldwide everywhere and I tried changing some settings so they could bid, to no avail. The only workaround I could suggest was to change his address to a USA or other country address temporarily and I would post it to his correct Peruvian address.

Does anyone know why the user cannot bid? This has never happened to me before and I always ship to anywhere in the world from Australia.

I wouldn't post to Peru, ever, so I can't help.

Maybe the eBay gods are on your side. Or maybe due to the thing called COVID (you might have heard of it) Australia Post isn't sending to Peru.

You could try specifying a different carrier, if you are set on losing your money.

He was able to bid - it turns out it was an issue with the eBay app. Bidding using the desktop site worked fine. I have a ton of issues with the app myself, it really needs a lot of bugs ironed out.

anyway, why would you never post to Peru?
