recently had trouble using a visa card not working in check out , worked yesterday 27th May (australian seller)

won't work today,(overseas seller) NOT a card problem

had problems a few days ago with australian sellers and had to use paypal or mastercard

ebay wants us to avoid paypal with managed payments so what is the problem

Friday is maintenance day on ebay and lots of things 'go to pot'....try again later

eBay does not care if the buyer uses Paypal.

Try it again usng paypal, it does not affect the seller or managed payments at all

just the account I mainly use is linked to this visa card and for ease of record keeping I don't want to retrieve records from paypal or other accounts ,

at checkout asks to update security numbers which are right then rejects visa card

costing other sellers timely sales

ebay still not accepting visa but aliexpress will so that's where my money has gone this time
