Anyone having an issue with new message format?

As of yesterday, the message reply page format changed significantly. Since then, when using Chrome, I can only type one character and then it defaults directly to the 'send message' button. I can reply fine using Firefox. Anyone else having this issue?

yes i am havng the same prolem. works ok in firefox but not in chrome.

Thanks for the reply. I'm glad to see it's not just me. Which means hopefully they are working on a solution.

Are you using an ad blocker? Try disabling it on the message page. Or try another browser.

I am able to type messages using Firefox and Edge, but Chrome does not display the text box correctly for me when my ad blocker is enabled on the message page.

I am having the same problem using Firefox, I posted separately with an image but the moderators deleted the image, making it pointless for eBay to see the problem.

Anyone else still having this issue? My resolved for a number of days last week, but has since returned. It only happens on Chrome. Just wondering if others are having this issue?

Do you notice any difference if you clear your cache and eBay cookies?

Are you by any chance using a Grammarly browser plug-in? If so try disabling it.

That worked! It's strange though because I've had Grammarly for a very long time and it's never been an issue before. Anyway, thanks for your suggestion!

I actually saw the suggestion on the UK discussion boards just after my first reply in this thread. Years ago there was a problem between Grammarly and eBay; I think they eventually sorted it out, but users with old versions kept running into the same problem for a while.

So just an update for anyone else having this issue. I added Grammarly back into Chrome and the problem has returned. One thing I did notice, is that on the day this problem started happening, the format of the send message page changed substantially. I'm thinking this has something to do with the issue.
