topic 4G Upgrades causing "No Service". in Technical Issues

Has anybody lost their internet connection after a 4G upgrade in their area? I use wireless mini modems (dongles) running off a desktop pc and large screen. Being disabled, it is much easier this way for me. In May 2021 a 4G upgrade was done, and now my dongles have lost connection. Have rung the telcos, and they just want to pass the buck. Have dongle frequency bands been discontinued? Noone is saying anything. My dongles are functioning good - no faults with them. But keeps coming up as 'No Service'. Have to post this message on a small screen mobile phone. Please, does any one know? Thank you.

If you have a smartphone with enough data allowance, you can connect your computer to your phone via 'Connections>Mobile Hotspot and Tethering>Mobile Hotspot'. (Samsung)

You should get a connection ID and password to link your computer to your phone's data.

Mobile dongles seem to be a thing of the past. When mine died earlier this year I couldn't get a replacement.
