All my bids, whether I'm winning or losing, are RED. Why is that Ebay? I'll like an answer please

Ebay don't read these boards I'm afraid

The only thing I can think off right off the top of my head, is there less than 1 hour of bidding to go?

Nope, bids are red from first bid 6 days out till end of auction. It's strange that I can be, and have been, the sole winning bidder on an item, spanning a week, and bid was always red

It's a glitch that happens sometimes then corrects itself.

I get it also from time to time.

Just take note if you are winning bidder or not.

I'm afraid I really don't know (or nothing springs to mind right away at least)

I am not currently bidding on anything myself, so I can't check if it's the same for me, but I am sure someone else who is will be along sometime soon and might have a better idea

There have been many changes to the boards of late, so maybe it is a result of ebay tinkering ?

It's a glitch that hasn't corrected itself for nearly 12 months

If there was some way of changing the color in Ebay Preferences, I would change it myself to GREEN

Right now I am the sole bidder on an item, still 3 days out, and all I see is RED

Howabout it Ebay, quit your tinkering and show me some GREEN

Try clearing cookies and temp internet files then restart computer.

And change to Chrome or Firefox if using IE.

Are you looking at it in your watch list?

Cos it will always be red there.

You have to go to Bids/Offers to watch it. It will be green there

......until you get outbid, that is.

Ok I'm closer to a solution

It's green in Bids/offers and My Summary, but red in Watch List. It used to be green in Watch List and it doesn't make sense for it now to be red all the time

Watch List is my Ebay homepage so I'll change the homepage to My Summary and watch the items from there

I don't think I've ever seen my bids in green in my Watch List.

But whatever works for you.

Yep definitely green once upon a time, and would change to red when outbid. I'm resigned now to watching everything in My Summary, I just made it my Homepage
