zoom function has disappeared from all my listings

Just adding my voice to the many that seem to have lost the zoom function on their eBay listings. It's been a problem all week. Frustrating, I have not sold anything this week which is unusual so I'm convinced this is the problem.

I am trying to upload photo's I keep getting an eBay message saying theres a 'GLITCH' in the system,

I am trying to upload pictures but I keep getting a message "there is a glitch in the system" please try again later.

This has never happened to me before, I have tried to upload again twice but keep getting the same message.

Is anyone else having this problem?

Could perhaps be due to being 'fiddle Friday', ebay's so called maintence day which causes even more glitches than usual

hi i have been experiencing the same issue all day today and since thursday night, unable to list is very frustrating

Magnify has disappeared. Is it coming back?

Many members reporting on problems with pics in the last few days.

Appear to be eBay site glitches.

I am using a 10 mega pixel camera so my pictures should be fairly good quality. The question is why cant I zoom or enlarge any pictures, not just my own but for other members listings.

Is the issue from my end or something wrong with ebay. I've been using ebay for years and have never had this issue until about two weeks ago.

It is just another ebay glitch.....just check on the boards and see how many members are reporting it.

What is happening? It is a glitch on ebay as you would see if you had read my answer to the OP....and the many other threads on the same question.

There is nothing more anyone here can tell you as ebay either deny there is a problem or will tell you it is being looked at.

Same problem. No magnification on any of my listings. It seemed to reappear for a moment yesterday when I emptied my cache, but now its gone again and nothing I've tried and none of these forums have an answer. Not impressed as I have not sold anything all week and I'm sure this is the problem.

It's an eBay site glitch many are experiencing.

Have a look at some of the threads started on this topic in selling.

I have also lost the zoom function and still no reply from EBAY on how to fix it.

You/we can't fix it. Ebay has to fix it

Have you phoned them about it? they (ebay) are far too keen on pretending that nobody else has complained (nonsense) and it is not a fault on their end (nonsense also)

I have found the same thing for the past couple of weeks.

I specialise in pretty small things, (watch parts, tools, watches for parts etc) so it is essential to be able to zoom in on listing photos.

I have just finished looking at 19 listings in the Watches, Parts & Accessories category.

ONLY 4 had the zoom function working!

Many of the ones I looked at are from sellers who I have bought from multiple times and they have always had the zoom active.

Another typical Ebay stuff up and as usual they won't acknowledge that there is a problem or that it is their fault.

My bidding is probably down by 70% during the past 2 weeks because I can't bid if I can't clearly see what I am bidding on.

Bought a nice pair of binoculars last week as I didn't have to zoom to see what I would be getting...

I've just dropped in to see if anyone else has this problem besides me.

I've been searching everywhere to see if I've accidently clicked or unclicked something. It's a comfort to see the problem is not with the operator, lol.

How long before the photo zoom/enlarge technical problem is fixed?

Very hard for buyers to get a clear indication of the item without it.

I would say quite a while, given that ebay flat out deny there is any issue

And that everyone who rings and compalins are told it's 'just them' and that 'there have been no other reports/complaints'
