Your first item sold on this account was $28 + $10.60 postage. I'll assume you bought an ebay postage label, so what you've got sounds about right (it's too late at night to do the sums).

Hi,

I have just sold my first item on eBay and have received the payment, once item was sold and fees were deducted it said I would receive $33.13. I’ve just received the payment and it was only $18.63. Curious why over 1/2 my sale price has been taken

I don't know

But then again, I don't know how you have already been paid anything at all, since the holds for all new sellers is 30 days and you have yours in less than ten days, and with the buyer not having left any feedback

Unless 'the rest' is still on hold

Have you contacted eBay to ask?
