Maybe, maybe not. The "carrot" to join ebay plus is changed regularly. You need to see what the offer is when you actually join.....not what it was when you were browsing some time ago.

The $40 off is not a bad offer but if you wait you will probably get a $50 offer.

You also need to understand that the offer is not instantaneous. You need to wait till ebay accepts and activates your membership....only then will you get the offer code and be free to use it.

As said by lynsh84, the $40.00 is not always available so going through that link to join up may not necessarily give members $40.00 off, so they will have wasted their money.
