Returns

I bought a doll from NSW. It was faulty. I initiated a 'Return the Item'. The seller accepted that, but I was sent an address in China (which can't be located on a map either). Also, I got an Ebay notice that the seller can't send a return post stamp(?). I've messaged the seller about this. If they really can't issue a return post stamp(?), then, Ebay policy states the seller is responsible for return postage, which can be forwarded first, or, pay postage with the item refund. What would be the best, safest way to accept that payment up front if they agree?

Hopefully to your total satisfaction, rather than the seller making some kind of promise they have zero intention of keeping. It is correct sellers overseas cannot provide a return postage label

The seller is registered in China

Was the doll really sent from NSW as the listing claimed, or from China

(The seller may have a 'warehouse' here in NSW, but not set up for items to be returned to

Just remember not to close any case until YOU are happy (even if they seller tells you you 'have to before they can help') and keep an eye on it, so it does not time out while you are waiting to hear back from the seller
