I believe there is a cooldown period.

I don't know what it is, but probably more than 12 days.

Make sure you are signed in to the account that has the membership.

Sometimes there are issues with the app so if using the app try using a browser.

Have you reached the limit on the number of times it can be used? And is it still an active voucher?

If all else fails use the non-plus voucher- it's what...an extra 2%??

It's not the extra 2% I care about, so much as there could be a new eBay plus promotion only for members and i wouldn't be eligible.

Do you mean you upgraded from the free trial period to paid eBay Plus membership, or from 'regular' eBay to eBay Plus, but as part of the free trial period?

I have the exact same issue. Except I re-joined Ebay Plus after being an Ebay Plus member from May 2023-May 2024. I rejoined June 13th.

When I use any discount code exclusive to only Ebay Plus members, I get the "To apply this code, you need to be an eBay Plus member." Error as you described. This includes my $5 monthly voucher I got sent recently which you need to spend $35 or more. But No, it still fails to work even when meeting all criteria and get the same error as mentioned.

I have reached out to Ebay support more than 5 times and they always tell me they are working on it as high priority. It's been 2 weeks now.

I got 1 response after the first Ebay Support contact advising me that it will be fixed after 72 hours of first sign up and must log off and login again to your account. I've been doing this every 2nd day and still not fixed. Not sure what else to do.

I did find other users with the same issue via another forum (OzBargain) recently and they had same issues but some users appear to have fixed after 2 days of joining Ebay Plus. Some users are able to use the discount codes straight after they sign up. So there is a glitch somewhere.

Hey anime0001, I got a response from Ebay Technical Support last night, co-incidentally not too long after I posted my own community post, regarding site issues:

They have advised me "We have found a technical issue due to which eBay plus members are unable to utilize Plus subscription benefits including redeeming plus vouchers. We have identified you as one of those impacted users."

"......thank you for your patience while we are working to resolve this issue. We will share and update soon."

Will update if and when the issue has resolved.

My issue appears to be fixed today 10/07/2024. As i've been checking to test this out every single day since June 13th when I signed up to Ebay Plus.
