eBay commerce IS eBay (when someone buys something, the buyer 'pays eBay and eBay pays the seller)

eBay help is at the top of every page, you need to type speak to an agent in the chatbot

The penny test (micro deposits) is an option in signing up for Managed Payments

BUT

It is possible, from what you are saying happened that in this case a scammer/hacker has done a 'test' to see if they can withdraw money from your account

Those are a cent or two (micro deposits) , certainly not $300 odd

If it is from a few months ago, you would need to make sure you change the drop down menu under your purchase history to 2025

If you do not recall buying something for $300 and you don't allow anyone else to use your account, I would strongly suggest you contact your bank asap and report the unauthorised transaction so they can cancel your card and investigate

and report your account as being compromised to eBay

And change all your passwords etc etc
