Ebay seem very keen to keep you talking (or attempting to talk to the seller), trouble is you run the risk of exceeding the PayPal 45 day limit, after which they wash their hands of the problem.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In my case I did not receive the item. I followed the Ebay advice and went through a process of attempting an "open communication with the seller"&amp;nbsp; as advised.&amp;nbsp; But the item did not ever arrive, and when I finally attempted to open a dispute with PayPal they bounced it on the basis of the transaction being over 45 days old (it was actually 47 days). Convenient!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;A complaint to Ebay received a similar "not much we can do now" type of response. I certainly feel that this money was lost due to my following the Ebay advice. Luckily it was only $11, but it is a good illustration that Ebay and Paypal are not as safe as they might want you to believe.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Just my experience for what it's worth.       <description>&lt;P&gt;Can someone be kind enough to tell me how to go about lodging a complaint about a seller not sending refunds on returned items.
