Sending an Invoice

I am new here so am after some advice. Can I send an invoice on an unbought item? Buyer wants to buy an item but I need to adjust the postage. Do I get them to buy first and then send an invoice with a revised postage?

You can either revise the listing before purchase then the buyer can complete checkout immediately.

(Provided there are more than 12 hours left and no bids)

Or after the purchase you can send an invoice with postage adjusted.

(Adjust postage and DO NOT click recalculate, just preview to check and send)

Better to revise before purchase IMO.
