John, this board is for ebay related questions, for Collectables go to the

Discussion Boards and look for the link to Coins, Stamps, Collectables & Antiques.

you'll need to post a photo there of the item and the backstamp and someone will be able to identify it for you.

to put a photo on a message just click the little ''picture'' icon at the top of the message box after you type your message.

How do I go about getting identification for an old Noritake bowl?

I bought this old Noritake bowl (Fruit Bowl?) & would like to try & get a positive I.D. & some idea of its worth.

It's 10"D X 2 3/8"H - Pink Rose pattern with gold trim - has some trim loss & no damage/crazing - retains good eye appeal. Condition would fall into the "Good" category. The backstamp - if I am correct - is "The Blue Circa 1908 Registered - London Mark" (Ref. Page 42 - "Noritake for Australia & New Zealand). The seller offered up the anecdotal support that it came from the estate of her 80+ y.o. Mother's Aunt - which ties in pretty well with the backstamps era.

If anyone can help, I can send photos to your email.

Thank's in anticipation.

John
