on eBay Australia there is NO RESERVES. (unless you are selling in ebay Motors.... cars/bikes/boats/ etc...)

on eBay Australia you should set your starting price at the price you would be happy to get if you only get ONE BID (and many auctions do only get one bid).

starting at $1 and hoping there will be a bidding frenzy to $250 (or whatever) just almost never happens.

start where you 'd be happy to end, and any extra bids are a bonus!

Stupid Australians (I am one of them) always think they can do things better.

Of course we want the OPTION to set a reserve, who cares if it is a car or a camera.

We are selling something, give us the tools to sell it.
