Question There could be more than one of the item. Or the seller... in Selling on eBay

There could be more than one of the item.

Or the seller did not receive what they wanted and have renegged on the deal and relisted in the hope of getting more for it.

The winning bidder can report the seller for this and can leave negative feedback for not honoring the sale.

It does not necessarily equate to shill bidding.

If an item has apparently been sold (not with a reserve) and there is no bid retraction how and why can it be relisted if shill bidding has not occurred? Does ebay monitor trades like this and if so what are the ramifications?
