Ticked box for reinsertion x 3

I have just received a email to advise me one of my items was automatically relisted. On checking the box which you tick if you want to take advantange of the 3 times insertion I found the box ticked. I did not tick that box. I made a point of never ticking that box with any of my listings. I have now unticked the box but will the listing be automatically relisted after 7 days even after I have unticked that box? . I wanted to put that item on another selling venue for a period of time and now I can not do this until I am sure it will not be reinserted again. Thank you for any advice you can give me.

Hello BBB,

That would explain some other members stating they didn't tick the box either.

By rights revising the listing and unticking the box should cancel the auto relists.

However, seeing as a listing has default auto relisted, it may happen again.

You could end the listing and if it relists, end it again and a third. Then you would be sure.

I have made a note of it to forward to ebay with my next list of suggestions.
