Buy it Now Price

If you list a Buy it Now price along with Start Price and the item doesnt recieve bids up to the But it Now price, do you have to sell at the end of th eAuction or must it reach the Buy it Now price to sell

Just some background info: The Buy it Now price is different than the starting bid price, Buy it Now price lets the buyer to buy the item there and then and does not have to go through the period of waiting for their bid to end; while the starting bid price is your lowest price for the item, so it is one or the other.

So, yes, you would have to sell the item if the winning bid does not get any near the Buy it Now price. If you would like for the item to reach a certain price and does not ended up selling the item at a low price, then you either set the starting bid the price you really wanted the item to sell, or you pay eBay an amount to list items with Reserved Price. Reserved Price allow you to keep the item ( you are not committed to selling the item ) even when there is an ending bid becuase it does not reach the Reserved Price you have set on the item.
