Cancel an order

I've just cancelled an order by mutual agreement by the buyer. The listing was without a pick up option, but the buyer wanted pick up or have the item delivered to another suburb.

I already have ebay's message that I receive a credit that can e used towards listing more items for sale.

That seems to be a strange wording. Does it mean, the credit can only be used to offset listing fees and not final valuation fees on other items that I have sold? I stay within my 40 free listings, so I'm certainly not interested in offsetting it against listing fees only.
