1) Ebay “Quote” Postage tracking is information provided by the postage carrier on the whereabouts of a parcel once it has been entered into their system “Unquote”.

Scotty H. (AusPost Community) “Quote” The movement of International Post Economy articles aren't recorded while they travel through the postal network both here and overseas. “Unquote”.

What happens if the buyer claims the item was not received and no tracking information can be verified if sending by Economy Air outside Australia.

2) Sending with Postage Stamps, the item being deposited in a Pillar Box outside a P.O. , there is also no Tracking, again , what happens if there is a dispute, and NO printed Label with a tracking number is provided.

Is the seller regarded by Ebay as at fault for not providing a Tracking Number.

Short answer...Yes.

If you want verifiable tracking then you need to pay for the service.

In a dispute the seller who has verifiable tracking will have seller protection and will not lose their money.
