Question Re: identification check in Selling on eBay

Is the potential buyer asking you to post a picture of the valuation certificate?

If he is then it is not unusual or unreasonable.

Most sellers of expensive jewellery who have such a certificate will post it in the listing.

Hello

I am selling a piece of diamond jewellery, and a potential buyer has made an offer in writing but also want to do do an identification check online?

Is this common practice for these types of sales?

I am a first time seller for this type of product and want to make sure I'm following all protocols, but also protecting my identification information!
