Problems with a seller & giving a tracking number but item not delivered - now wants payment - can't contact ebay - CHAT just doesn't work!!

They used to have a phone number - NOW NONE LISTED!! CHAT to a ROBOT!!!

go to HELP (top of page) and go to 'Live Chat"........call centres have closed due to covid-19

Live Chat would be closed now....try again tomorrow.

The phone option has been closed down for months now due to the coronavirus.

I don't really understand your problem....can you give a bit more detail please?

Thank you for your help with the CHAT facility on ebay - I didn't find it worked & it was like dealing with a ROBOT!! Someone has opened a case on ebay re non-delivery of item - posted 3 weeks ago & tracking number advised - ebay now states I have two days to refund the money! I've advised tracking number & think it's unfair that they are now hounding me for non-delivery of an item posted with Australia Post in Australia Post satchel with tracking & number provided! Called Australia Post & spent 25 minutes on the phone - the purchaser could have done same & advised her all of the above!! HELP1!

Does the tracking number show the item was actually delivered?

Did you post to the address shown in PayPal ?

I don't understand "the item did not arrive and seller now wants payment"??? You would need to pay before an item is sent.

No she paid & I posted it with the tracking number advised & with Australia Post tracking. After 3 weeks & non delivery rather than check with me she's put a request through ebay for non delivery & refund! I've spent ages on the phone to AP checking where it is which she could have done but now wants a refund even though tracking number was advised! I can't get any HELP from ebay whatsoever - the ROBOT on the end of CHAT line is hopeless.I can't even find an address to email them!! HELP PLEASE.

No the tracking show that the item is still in transit - Yes I posted to the address shown on PayPal - I thought that as I had advised her of the tracking number & posted with Australia Post in an Australia Post satchel with tracking then the onus was on her to follow up & not ebay now to tell me to refund the money - otherwise what's the point of us paying the expensive sum on Australia Satchels with tracking if this happens!! Really not happy & can't contact ebay - CHAT LINE is just a waste as it's automated by a ROBOT at the other end!!!
