i have spoken to seller about the item i bought and refuses to refund me or work out a solution. i cant even leave feedback.

You bought the item back in August.....long past the time for any redress through ebay.

What is wrong with it that you want a refund?

You only have 60 days to leave feedback so way out of time for that also.

put them in and at 70kms the engine light came back on. there cheap and nasty. I think they came from hong kong

If the seller is not helpful and provided you paid via PayPal, you have 180 days to open a case for INAD in PayPal.

i went through afterpay. and they say 1 year warranty

Afterpay doesn't warrant anything. If the seller is indeed in Hong Kong, something you should have checked prior to purchase, then any claimed warranty is words on your screen. Overseas sellers are not subject to Australian law.

Let me guess, the item/s were far cheaper than reputable Australian sellers list for.

@bodyshop71, do as kopenhagen has suggested. Open a case for INAD / SNAD under PayPal's Buyer Protection.

They are not in Australia. It probably did not come from Australia - it was probably supplied in what's known as "just in time fulfilment".

Your seller's feedback profile page states:

Member since: 17-Sep-19 in China

You should always look at a seller's feedback profile page (click onto the feedback percentage to get there), where you can see where the seller is REGISTERED. A seller can claim that the item is in Australia, but that means zilch.

Even if the item was located in Australia, the seller is in China so would not be subject to Australian Consumer Law.
