The new payment system sucks to high heaven.

What a joke.

Extremely slow and basically useless.

Then they ask for WHAT DO YOU THINK.

Ebay obviously do not want to hear what the sellers think because no one can access this item

I was transferred to managed payments from 8 March and have to agree that its a backward step for sellers. Takes almost a week for the money to hit my bank account. It also means that no payment is going automatically into my Paypal account. Previously, money went into Paypal instantly so I could see that an item had been paid. Now the money floats in hyperspace for a few days-I have cases where the buyer gets the item before the money appears in my account.

As with everything that ebay does, its all to benefit ebay and certainly not to benefit the seller. They have tried to sell this as simplifying the payment process, but as far as I'm concerned, the process is longer and not as simple or transparent. 99.99% of my buyers pay by Paypal.

99.9% of your buyers can still pay with PayPal.
In the real business world waiting up to 90 days for payment is not unusual.

Not in the retail world tuck, and eBay is really just a platform for retailers. I think this new system sounds like it has more neg points than plus points.

I wonder - does anyone know why the break from Paypal to Adyen

kat...retailers also carry accounts and can wait that long to be paid.
Google is your friend for more info on the break with PayPal.

Yeah thanks tuck, I did google and found out about it. Still disagree with the retail thing though, that is a choice they make, they don't have to offer accounts to people. In addition to that they also have up to 90 days to pay thier suppliers, so...... While not on the same scale I admit, here that choice has been taken away.

I agree it sucks like it better when it went straight into my paypal account guess i wont be selling anymore when you have to wait for the money to come in after they have paid takes like 3-4 days. what about when you have items to be picked up ppl want to pick up before the money goes into your account
