Question Re: "Unsold" idiocy in Selling on eBay

Credit where credit is due, I received a very quick response to my comments from an eBay staffer. The first problem resolved itself, with Unsold items now showing as Not Relisted. The staffer advised me to report any further instances of sold items showing as unsold. I'd already deleted the ones I referred to from the list, so not much they could do there. We're also engaging in a dialogue aimed at getting the new All Selling Page working more like the old one. He said Scheduled Listings would soon be added, and I'm trying to get more changes. So do use the comments facility if you have concerns or suggestions, as there is somebody listening!

"Unsold" idiocy

eBay has done what I thought was impossible with the new selling page(s), made it substantially worse.

Now, when I click on Unsold listings, there is a column showing each item status as "Relisted". Huh?

Even worse, the list contains items I've already sold! This means I have to check every relist to see if I actually still have the item. This is, of course, frustrating and time consuming in the extreme.

I wanted to make an official complaint about it, but so too does nearly every seller; so, of course, eBay no longer has any complaints mechanism that I can find.

Yes, I've posted this in the comments facility, but there must be millions of unread comments there by now.

The status on your sold item page is obviously set to "All statuses".

Just click on the arrow and choose "Unsold and not relisted" or whichever other option suits what you would like to see.
