Have been buying and selling on ebay since 2006, never had a bad review.

I listed a few items, 2 days ago, one sold, I expected to see the payment transferred to my bank, but NO, I will have to wait until October (4 weeks ) for payment, what a joke!!,

I deleted all my other listings immediately, will no longer sell on ebay, have put them up on gumtree, advise others to do same until ebay reconsiders this unjust policy, especially for small transactions.

Why bother selling if you have to wait 4 weeks to be paid.

Surely ebay can take the money from your bank a/c in the event of a dispute.

No more ebay for me.

Your last feedback seller was from over a year ago

Like everyone, no matter how long they have been on eBay, if it is that long since they sold something, eBay consider them a new seller

As has been the case for a long, long time

If you can show by tracking and/or feedback that the sale was successful you can apply to have the funds released before the 30 days. No different from back in 2014 when Paypal was holding your money for 21 days.

It is really confusing i appreciate not selling an item for a long time on ebay (5yrs) they do a check in my case 21 days before payment ? My buyer paid for the item and picked it up he

lived in the same state no postage required Here's the strange thing the item sold for $22.50

but the amount ebay is holding is $19.18 so ebay have taken there service fee out $3.32 that's not on hold . Ebay did not wait 21 days for there payment . There should be a better way of doing this Buying is no problem it is only selling ....kennyg.08 Payments on hold

You should put in your listings that you prefer cash on pick up items.

The 21 day hold via paypal, 30 days via MP, is a security measure to combat fly by night sellers. It applies to all members until ebay are satisfied the seller is not a security risk. There is no need for ebays % to also be placed on hold, as I am 100% certain ebay is fully aware of their own security status.
