As a new Seller of ebay, how to get cheaper postage. For example, any smallest item cost to post is $9.30 on Australia post. Many sellers list products under $9. How can we do that? If i want to sell a computer mouse or mobile charger, it cost me postage $9.30 but already it selling on ebay for $9 or less. How does it happen. Please advise. thanks

Some sellers include the postage in the price of the item.

Others send as large letter, even though many items are supposed to go as parcel and often the buyer gets charged extra by AP, which they wouldn't be happy about.

If it is sort of flat or really small , you can send it as a letter with tracking.

I am not sure about the dimensions, but it is not much, so you could be right. Really small items can fit in, in particular if they are soft, but not much more. I like miniatures, so what you say is often a reality for me too (as a buyer). Sometimes I see small items for less than $5 --- and then postage is twice as high as the item.

If you're selling mice or chargers, most of your competition is from China. The Chinese government subsidises postage on exports, so Chinese sellers don't pay Australia Post prices. Nor do they provide quality products at that price.
