I had my motorcycle for auction the buyer placed a bid on it on the first day and ended up winning the auction I tried to contact him but got no reply and ended up cancelling I relisted the bike buy it now another buyer bought it and again will nor answer emails or request to pay is this a happening thing now both buyers had good feedback

Of course both buyers "had good feedback"... buyers can only receive positive feedback.

Hopefully you cancelled as unpaid to receive a fee credit.

Asking for payment "upfront" is foolish... you should ask for cash on collection.

Even more foolish is listing the non payer's ID in your listing.

Non payers have always been "a happening thing".... a small inconvenience.

How can asking for payment upfront be foolish I live in a remote area so how long do you think I should wait for the buyer to turn up with the cash at least with payment made upfront I can be confident the sale is real and yes I did receive a fee credit

If the buyer pays with PayPal they can cause you problems by claiming item not as described & cause you problems. If they pay cash they have no comeback

I think ebay is too soft all account owners should have to provide a valid name address and contact number

Sorry to hear this happened.
Non-payers do come along once in a while.

You can cancel after four days and put the item back on the market (4th reason).
I also agree that blocking non-payers is useful as it saves you from potentially having to deal with them again.
Unfortunately, non-payers are time wasters.

Buyers can only ever have 100% positive feedback, so that is meaningless

I hope you reported them for non payment and put them on you blocked buyers list
