increase postage on multiple qty of same items

Im trying to work out how to increase postage costs when people purchase multiples of the same item from me. im pretty new to all this and items that have sold in multiple qty has ended up costing me more for shipping as the customer has only payed based on a single item, please note my items are larger so the postage costs vary significantly.

You have the ability to add - an amount for each extra item in your postage details - check it out.

Hi Domino, ive had a good look through postage details but cant seem to find anything on extra charges for multiple items.
