Question Re: NOT AU STOCK!!!!! in Site Issues

The seller is not responsible for the very unrealistic estimated delivery dates given....that falls fairly and squarely at ebay's feet.

The only way to get a more realistic date is for the seller to extend their handling time.

Why doesn't ebay do something about sellers who advertise a product which is claimed to be AU stock and supposedly shipped from within Australia, but is clearly not? Instead shipped from overseas. These sellers also state a delivery target which they have no intention in meeting!

This is very false advertising and we as consumers deserve better.

I agree with eBay needing to do more to curb this type of behaviour.

However in eBay's defence, Chinese sellers often have total disregard for rules.

All I can suggest is to stay away from any listings that look like Asian sellers, ID names with AU in them, showing as Darwin location or products too cheap in price.
