I got a call that said we are from ebay the phone no was 08 8691 9681 IS THAT YOU EBAY?? OR A SCAM

'we' are not eBay, we are fellow buyers and sellers

The call you got was not eBay either, it is a scam

Was is suppsoedly about ' $200 worth of gift cards' ?

These scams are rife at the moment claiming to be from many places i.e. Telstra, JB, Amazon to name a few. Hope you didnt press 1 as they instructed!!!!

Did you do a search for the phone number? No? Would have taken less time that posting your question.

eBay is based in Sydney, area code 02, so that would have been obvious at first blush.
