No Ask eBay to step in option.

Going in circles as the help guide says:

How to ask us to step in

Find the item in your Purchase History
Select See request details (if your item didn’t arrive) or See return details (if you’re trying to return an item).
Select Ask eBay to step in.

This is not an option on my return and the seller is no longer responding so how do I escalate?

How long ago did you buy the item ?

What was the final ETA of the item ?

Have you actually opened a claim and did you respond within the cutoff period ?

Claims have a time limit on them, for an eBay claim 30 days after the final ETA of the item and Paypal 180 days after the purchase date.

All within timeframes. Started claim within 7 days of arrival., which was only 10days ago. Have until the 12 th to return item but as this was waiting for me to return it & selling not supplying any details, they are responsible for returns then this clearly needed to be escalated but this is not an option.

Do you have the option of responding to the dispute ? If so do that and say that the seller is not giving their address or a return label. When you look at their feedback is the seller registered in Australia ? What was the location given in the item listing ?

I have this exact problem. Seller supplies an item not matching the description. I promptly open a return. Seller supplies an address on their last day to act No return shipping label supplied, yet marked as supplied on ebay Seller admits item is not genuine Seller offers refund in exchange for feedback change Still no return label provided No option on ebay's "return details" page to ask ebay to step in. Here's the issue, the seller knows that the option is unavailable on site, and is running out the clock so as to have the return automatically close and keep the money. The seller is exploiting this to scam people. How do I get in touch with ebay to report it and receive a refund?

nevermind. I chatted with the ebay automated assistant from the help page and my problem is resolved.
