Will ebay consider Afterpay as a payment option for buyers?

Afterpay and Zip pay is prooving very popular. It would be good to offer this added payment gateway option to customers.

Since eBay is talking of closing down Paypal as a safe payment method in the next couple of years and implementing another payment choice, I doubt very much if they are going to consider Afterpay or Zip pay.

We would prefer buyers to pay before we ship, not sometime after! How would this work with non-paying buyers when they already have the item?

I'd imagine they might accept a lot more forms of payment when they change their payment system.

The seller gets their money from Afterpay (or whatever system is used) before they ship.  After that it is between Afterpay and the buyer.

Afterpay pay the seller straight away and then the buyer pays back afterpay.

I already buy things on eBay using PayPal that lets me pay three weeks later , PayPal offered it to me 6 years ago it’s a great system however they should enhance it

It will be irrelevant in a few years - eBay are dumping Paypal and using their own system.
