If you bought say a mobile phone from say Telstra, would you be ok and wouldn't do anything if the phone didn't come with accessories or the wrong accessories?

As I bought a Redmi Note 5A seller who I assumed to be based in Australia, as they posted from Sydney, in their eBay seller name they had Au and their company is a Pty Ltd.

But the phone didn't come with a Australian charger, the instructions weren't in English and in the settings for regions it didn't have Australia.

And some feel I should suck it up and live with it, as they assumed I didn't buy the phone in Australia but from China.

But how many phones in Australia, are actually manufactured in Australia?

Reading some of the comments including the English one.

I say some here, are also members of the Whirlpool forums especially where they also can't accept the facts, can't accept others have opinions, can't accept others pointing out they are incorrect, think they are the only ones that are right etc

If you can't win with logic, come up or should I say lower yourself with a English rant.

Yes they should be made to Australia standards.

I heard if you unlock your older Australian phone from say Telstra, you can't use in on The Optus Network.

But newer phones there are no problems because of the same MHz on different networks?

I guess there are many "dumb" people buying not only phones but many other items from Asia sellers including themselves?

How about you give us the item number of the phone you bought and we can see who you bought from and what was included in the purchase, THAT would clear up the whole issue.

Or would that leave you with a red face perhaps?????

Padi, I believe it's item #   162708583763

Seller is registered in Singapore, and states item is in Bayswater, Vic.

Brand no-one's ever heard of.

OP left a positive.  Go figure.

No wonder the OP didn't want to post the item number Stalks, Singapore seller and shocking feedback, say no more.......... original.gif

Dunno why I didn't look at fb left.............."slaps head".......

Somehow I doubt the OP will be back now......25 posts by them on 3 separate threads, and never a mention of the location of seller hmmmm.
