I purchased a Sunshine Recorder on ebay just over a month ago. It arrived and I unpacked it to find that the three items inside were nothing to do with a Sunshine Recorder, just some pieces of machined metal. I initiated a Return for Refund with images, and within 30 minutes had received a phone call and messages from the seller stating they apologised for the inconvenience, they had made a mistake, and they would send the proper item with a Tracking Number, as soon as I closed the Return Request.
My question is:
Do I close the Return Request before I receive the correct item (as the rules state I cannot reopen the Return Request if I close it now), or should I leave it open and ask the seller to send anyway??
I take it this was from the seller in India with the questionable feedback?
They have already sent you rubbish, and not by accident
Do not play their games
Open and follow through with an item not as described dispute and do not communicate any further with them
Report them to eBay for phoning you and block their number
